Fetchmail will pull your email from mailserver and it can deliver it to MUA, in 
your case procmail or simply to the mailbox/maildir. Procmail will help you with 
filtering and additional modifications of your emails.

So answer is yes, you can use fetchmail and later set up your procmail rules.
