[neomutt-users] mouse-based copy/paste picks up spaces at end of line

Greetings:
I recently switched to neomutt from Thunderbird. I am thrilled that
the venerable mutt codebase is still alive.
In my day-to-day work, I often find myself using the mouse to copy/paste
snippets of text from emails into other documents. To my chagrin, I found that
neomutt space-pads all lines out to the right edge of the terminal window,
regardless of whether those spaces are actually there, in the email, or not.
When merely reading emails this makes no difference, but when I go
to copy/paste a couple lines of text from an email, I get (for each
line) two things:
1. the actual line of text from the email
2. some number of additional space characters
The additional space characters get pasted and then I have to laboriously
remove them... :-(
Other ncurses applications (Vim comes to mind) do not exhibit such behavior, so
I wonder whether it is necessary.
Thanks for any thoughts on this subject.
Nathan
