[neomutt-users] Reading mail folders often terribly slow

Hi all,

Often, when I open a mail folder, it takes ages (sometimes 10 seconds),
while sometimes it opens almost instantly. I don't understand what's
happening there.

Some info:

I've tried changing the read_inc setting with

folder-hook . 'set read_inc=250'

but it is still very slow.

Any idea what could be happening?

Thanks,
