Thanks for notmuch reference.
I tested the "alternate way" which is the same behavior than using
the mutt build-in "limit" feature. BTW, I noticed a little bug in the
macro specially when the message-id contains a special regexp character
and here is a workaround. Still, this does not solve my initial
problem, but reveals a great full-text index to mine the emails.
I have also tested the "virtual mailboxes" way, but it postulates the
use of only one maildir. This would be a revolution to use this and I
wonder if anyone has some experience of this before I investigate
 macro index L "<enter-command>unset wait_key<enter><shell-escape>read -p 'notmuch query: ' x; echo \$x >~/.cache/mutt_terms<enter><limit>~i \"\`notmuch search --output=messages \$(cat ~/.cache/mutt_terms) | head -n 600 | perl -le '@a=<>;chomp at a;s/\^id:// for at a;s/\\+/\\\\+/g for at a;s/=/\\\\=/g for at a;$,=\"|\";print at a'\`\"<enter>" "show only messages matching a notmuch pattern"
