[neomutt-users] long passwords with special characters cause problems

Hi,

some imap passwords seem to cause problems.

While I can authenticate with a long password with severel special
characters in it with thunderbird, I cannot with mutt.

The logs say:

[2017-03-17 16:06:44] 5< a0000 NO [AUTHENTICATIONFAILED] Authentication
failed.

When I change the password of the account to something simple it works,
so I think I have all other config parameters set right.

Has anybody encountered this, too?
