[neomutt-devel] Plea for help

Hi Developers,

I need volunteers, because after nearly three years, NeoMutt is still essentially a one-man project.

The code is getting tidier.
The architecture is starting to become visible.
There are lots of jobs still to be done.

Each of these tasks helps to reduce the complexity of NeoMutt.
They're hard and they'll take time, but they are all important.

- Progress API
  Wrap up the progress messages so that low-level code isn't calling mutt_message()

- Menu API
  Wrap up the user menus so that low-level code isn't calling mutt_get_field()

- MX Path API
  Add functions to the MX API to canonicalise/prettify a path

- Regex refactor
  Wrap up all the calls to regcomp(), regexec() and create a match() function

I am not paid to work on NeoMutt, this is all done in my free time.
I enjoy the challenge, but I can't do everything.
NeoMutt's not going to have a future unless some others take some responsibility.
