[neomutt-users] Save mail to a file

Hi

I was trying to save the contents of a mail to a file.
The help page says:
s       save-message     save message/attachment to a mailbox/file

but the command always creates a mail directory with subfolders.
The folder "cur" conatins the wanted mail.

How can I save the contents of a mail into a file without the help of 'reply'
and save from the then opened vim?
