[neomutt-users] Changing the color of NEW mail where the select-bar is over ?

Mutt stores its colours as Foreground/Background pairs.
There's not concept of a 'default' colour which is inherited.

Sorry, it's not possible.

Fixing the colours is a BIG job.
So far there haven't been any volunteers.
